Note from the Pastor,
Join us this Sunday for Drive-in Worship at 10am with Holy Communion. The scripture texts are Matthew 21:23-31, Psalm 26:1-9 and Philippians 2:1-13. Deacon Krista Lind, assistant to the Bishop for the Saint Paul Area Synod, will be preaching. She will also participate in the congregational conversation regarding the call process and especially the Ministry Site Profile (the job description for the next pastor) which is available on our website. There will also be a collection made for the local Food Shelves in Cambridge and North Branch. The worship service and the meeting will be live streamed on the Fish Lake Facebook Page.
Interim Pastor John also has a blog which might be encouraging to you.

Children's Sunday School when the church reopens
Due to various reasons, Children's Sunday School will not be restarting on Sunday, October 4th. Leadership does not think it will be safe for children or families to move about the sanctuary and fellowship area and maintain safe social distance. Therefore children are asked to stay with their parents during worship. The worship service will be shorter and there will be a special children's bulletin each week with puzzles and activities based on the Gospel lesson. Families are encouraged to bring their own color pencil/crayons or other activity bags. (The church activity bags will be put away due to the virus) Pastor John will have a short children message, but the children will NOT come forward for it. As the congregation learns to function safely inside, children's ministry will be explore other options.
