At the church council meeting on Thursday, December 3, the council decided to delay the congregation's annual meeting until Sunday, April 25 due to the ongoing restriction of large in-person gatherings. Fish Lake Lutheran church's bylaws states, " In the event the Annual Meeting cannot be held as provided herein, a special meeting designated as the Annual Meeting may be called as provided by the constitution in Chapter 10.02." The budget spending will remain at the 2020 approved levels and the elected members of council will continue to serve until the April 25 annual meeting.

Each Wednesday Pastor John will also have a special children's craft project. Completed craft projects can be hung on the outdoor Christmas tree on Christmas Eve at Fish Lake Lutheran.

Then contact her with your list of gift cards, mail a check or drop it off at the office and your gift cards will arrive within a week. This is a fundraising campaign for social ministry.
We order the gift cards for you and receive a rebate. Everyone wins!

Shalom Thrift Shop Assistance
Are you or a family in need of some financial assistance, or do know of a family that is? Members of Fish Lake Lutheran volunteer their time at the Shalom Thrift Store in Cambridge. Because of the generosity of their time, Fish Lake Lutheran receives funds each month to help families with financial struggles. Contact Pastor John Keller or the church office if you, or someone you know, could benefit this service.

The Nominating Committee is looking for candidates to run for positions which will be voted on at the upcoming 2021 annual meeting.
We need up to six Council members, including a youth representative -- which is an interesting, sometimes challenging, often fun position.
There are two openings on the Nominating Committee, as well as a need for a new Head Usher.
Our church is blessed with an abundance of talent, and now is your chance to step up and let your light shine!
