Sunday School at Fish Lake Lutheran
Welcome!
We are grateful and blessed to be able to serve Christ and your families through our Sunday School Program.
Our Sunday School is for three year olds through 8th Grade.
We use the Rotation Workshop Model.
Following are a few things to keep in mind throughout the year:
Pick Up and Drop Off
For safety reasons, regardless of their age or the number of children in your family, please escort your child inside the Fellowship Hall before Sunday School begins at 8:45am and meet them inside the Fellowship Hall after Sunday School is over at 9:45am. Unless class is taking place outside, teachers and staff are responsible for children inside the church only. Again, for safety reasons, we're sure you'll agree that it's best for our children to be supervised at all times.
Missions
This year we are continuing the "Birthday Penny Bank." On the Sunday nearest your child's birthday, please have them bring an amount of pennies equal to their age (10th birthday = 10 pennies). We will sing the birthday song and have them deposit their pennies in the bank. In order to give our bottom line a boost, teachers and leadership will also make deposits. On the last day of Sunday School, we will ask everyone with a Summer birthday, to deposit their pennies. The total amount deposited will be donated to Family Pathways.
Mission events like the Thanksgiving grocery shopping trip and the making and collecting of the Lenten banks are on the calendar. There will be other mission projects occasionally throughout the year that we will do as a Sunday School community. We'll keep you informed as needed.
