Dr. Janis Amatuzio

Dr. Janis Amatuzio, a Forensic Patholigist, Medical Examiner, and known as the "Compassionate Coroner" was at Fish Lake on Sunday, April 27, 2008 as our featured speaker for the month in our Expanding Understanding: A Faith and Life Speaker Series.  She presented her talk entitled, "Beyond Knowing: Mysteries and Messages of Death and Life from a Forensic Pathologist." 

Over 250 people attended this event as Dr. Amatuzio reminded us of the holiness and sacredness that surrounds death and dying, and her experiences with that.

She has written two books, "Forever Ours", and "Beyond Knowing".
