Mom's Night Out
Take the night off mom's – Thursday, March 11th at 7:00 p.m. The Mom's of Fish Lake Lutheran are gathering at Nicole Linder's house for a wine tasting evening. There is no cost to attend. If you wish to bring a wine to taste/share please keep the cost under $15. However please don't feel obligated to bring one. This is a chance to taste and compare what's out there as well as get to know one another better.

If you bring one of these cards to a participating North Branch business on your regular shopping trips Fish Lake Lutheran could receive cash back from that organization. Food Shelf Sunday! In case you didn't know, or simply as a reminder, the fourth Sunday of the month at Fish Lake is Food Shelf Sunday. The Women of the ELCA group serves as coffee hour hostess that Sunday and all proceeds from the free-will offering always go towards the local food shelves. In addition to your financial free-will offerings, items that are always needed for the food shelf include: soups/stews, mac-n-cheese, canned fruit, tuna, juice/juice boxes, spaghetti sauce, baked beans, peanut butter/jelly, seasoned pasta and rice mixes, shampoo/soap/toothpaste, toilet paper and paper towels. So please come prepared next Sunday, the fourth Sunday of the month, to support our local Food Shelf. Coffee hosts are always needed to serve on Sundays after worship on the 1st and 3rd and occasionally 5th Sunday of each month. Treats are provided so all you need to do is serve and clean up. Sign up on the bulletin board downstairs or contact Julie Osborne, Marilyn Wicklund or the church office. Do you know that you can help our church by purchasing gift cards for everyday items such as gas, food, dining and clothes? You purchase the gift card at retail price and the church gets a percentage of each card purchased. Gift cards can be ordered from over 100 retailers like Wal-Mart, Ticketmaster, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Gander Mountain, Cabela's, Office Max, Best Buy, Menards, Sears, American Eagle, Holiday, Marathon, Cub, Crate & Barrel, Pier 1, Disney, Starbucks, Game Stop, Barnes & Noble, Great Clips and North Branch Outlet Stores. Cards can be purchased during fellowship time on Sundays or by contacting LaDonna Olson. Currently the money raised will help out the orphanage in Iringa, Tanzania. Weekly email updates are available from Pastor Dale every Monday. These include a summary of the previous Sunday morning worship service, prayer concerns, announcements and upcoming events.
